Drafting
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to develop detailed cabinetry designs based on client specifications and project requirements
- Create accurate technical drawings using design software such as AutoCAD, Microvellum, and other company-specific programs.
- Ensure that designs comply with company standards, safety regulations, and manufacturing capabilities.
- Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are accurately translated into high-quality, buildable products.
- Make adjustments to designs based on customer feedback, production limitations, and on-site conditions.
- Maintain organized records of project designs, revisions, and materials lists.
- Assist with the integration of new technologies and methodologies into the drafting process.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in drafting software such as AutoCAD, Microvellum, or similar.
- Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or related fields preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce precise technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of design standards, ADA Requirement and manufacturing processes related to cabinetry is a plus.
